Live streaming of Rossini’s Playlist
On Saturday 16 November at 6.30pm, Guillaume Tell will conclude the Rossini’s Playlist concert cycle. A year of concerts. The initiative, which won a call for proposals from the Ministry of Culture, has presented its entire operatic repertoire every Saturday from the balcony of Gioachino Rossini’s home, in 39 performances, one for each of the operas. The concerts were performed by former students of the Accademia Rossiniana ‘Alberto Zedda’.
The final event, the result of immersive experimentation combined with 5G capabilities, will be streamed live in 360° mode on the ROF YouTube channel, thanks to the collaboration with the CTE Square project. The concert, filmed as usual by Sinergia with professional 360° cameras and an ambisonic microphone, will be broadcast live thanks to the University of Urbino’s solutions, which make a particular efficient use of mobile networks. The concert will be viewed on screen or through VR viewers for an even more immersive experience. The audience will feel as if they were in Rossini’s home, next to the singers, during the concert. The recording will be available online until Saturday 23 November. Read more.
