ROF and 2030 Agenda
The ROF bases its activities on the goals of the 2030 Agenda, and among them places particular value on the topic of Decent work and economic growth, as indicated by Goal 8. The goals set for 2030 include full and productive employment and decent work for women and men, reducing the share of young people unemployed and out of education or training, as well as protecting the right to work and promoting a healthy and safe working environment for all workers.
In these days the Festival has launched a new free vocational training course for adults, realised in collaboration with Cometa Srl, the Marche Region and the Municipality of Pesaro thanks to the support of the European Social Fund, dedicated to the training of Stage Equipment Technicians. The course will be attended by 14 students and 5 auditors aged between 19 and 56, to whom it will offer a concrete possibility of access to the world of work not only within the Rossini Opera Festival, but in the entire performance sector (plays, operas, films and television productions).
