The Salons Rossini are back
The Salons Rossini, the cycle of concerts entrusted to the students of the Accademia Rossiniana ‘Alberto Zedda’, are back, as an ideal tribute to the famous and lively Rossini Salons of the time. The review was created to offer the ROF’s traditional audience the opportunity to get to know the province better and, at the same time, to take the Festival’s performances to unusual and evocative locations.
The concerts will take place from 19 July to 1 August at 9 p.m. in precious stages in the province of Pesaro and Urbino: the Courtyard of the Rocca di Gradara (19 July); the Church of San Francesco di Cagli (22 July); the Franciscan Cloister of Mondavio (27 July); the Salone del Trono of the Palazzo dei Principi di Carpegna (30 July); the Cortile d’Onore of the Palazzo Ducale di Urbino (1 August). Each concert will be introduced by a short prologue by musicologist Andrea Parissi of the Rossini Foundation. A special Rossini tasting will be held at the end of the event.
