The ROF at the Daegu UNESCO Music Festival
ROF Intendant Ernesto Palacio spoke at the conference Opera and future Forum, held at the Dalgubul Hall of the Daegu Arts Center in Daegu (South Korea) as part of the Daegu UNESCO Music Festival.
Among the participants, representatives of the New National Theatre of Tokyo, New Opera of Singapore, National Theater of Mannheim (Germany), National Theatre of Brno (Czech Republic), Hungarian State Opera, Mongolian State Opera & Ballet, Teatro Comunale di Ferrara.
The report by Ernesto Palacio, included in the session Suggestions for Theaters to overcome crisis, was entitled The ROF at the time of the pandemic, and illustrated the various issues addressed by the Festival in the last two editions, successfully went on stage despite anti-Covid19 restrictions.
The invitation to Daegu follows a memorandum of understanding signed in 2018 between the city of Pesaro and that of Daegu, both included in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN). Through this memorandum, the two cities, in accordance with the mission and objectives of the network, promote cultural exchanges and cooperation projects.
