The Rossini Opera Festival often collaborates with public and private organisations, organising training courses for young unemployed people in order to create new professionals in the various sectors of live performance.

Since 2001, the Efesto project has been running, a school for stage professions created to protect ancient crafts and promote those linked to new technologies.

Over the years, theoretical and practical courses have been held for set designers, lighting technicians, tailors, stagehands and props makers, resulting in a large number of young professionals in the sector, who have also found work at the Festival itself.
