The Concerti dal Balcone of the house where Gioachino Rossini was born are a characteristic event in the city’s musical calendar. The protagonists are the former students of the Accademia Rossiniana “Alberto Zedda“, who perform excerpts from Rossini’s operas in a twenty-minute performance halfway between a concert and a flash mob.

In 2024, on the occasion of Pesaro’s year as Italian Capital of Culture, the Rossini Opera Festival has conceived the Rossini’s Playlist project. A year-long concert which offered the entire repertoire of Rossini’s operas in 39 special concerts that were presented to the public every Saturday at 6.30 pm, from 24 February to 16 November.
